I made the mistake of getting involved with a man at work. I confess to having feelings, but as he was married I tried to remain distant. He pushed me into something more intimate, coming over to my apartment unannounced looking for a hot meal and me as desert. I never refused him, I cooked and gave myself to him. What could ten minutes mean?
He became much more attached, and it started to have problems at home with his wife. The argued over me, he wanted to continue and she was against it. He called me late at night, in bed beside his wife. He thought she would be asleep, but she mostly heard the conversations, including the references to intimacy. She called me to go to lunch.
We met at the restaurant, we sat in a booth in the back. She asked me if I loved him, if not why was I having sex with him. I admitted that I had feelings, but came short of telling her I was in love with him. She said he was in love with me, and she expected that I was in love with him. She said he wasn't sleeping well because I wasn't there with him, when he woke up he wanted me to be there. I felt a guilt trip coming on, she continued, about how I kept him over in my apartment, I gave him oral sex which she wouldn't, he wanted me to have babies, he didn't want me to work. She is a stay at home mom of two, and hasn't worked since she got married.
Then she came to the point about having lunch. We should try coliving. I would move in with them, and see. Six weeks, maybe three months. She had made up her mind, and insisted of taking me home with her, she had to be back to pick up her daughter at day school. We got back just in time, and when she got into the car, she said I was Ellen, and I was going to be her other Mommy.
He was caught completely by surprise, she hadn't told him anything. Surprise, I brought your office girlfriend back to live with us. It was a force of wills, she insisted, he declined, and I was in the middle. That's where I ended up, in the middle between them. That first night she asked me to help her with dinner, and bathing and getting her daughter to bed. Then we sat down in the living room.
She wanted a wife relationship, basically a polyamorous marriage. She wanted me to share with the burden of children, not to work and help her with the house and raising the kids together. One bed, one bedroom, a man and his wives. All sex was open, no hiding, you had sex together. No secrets. All kissing was open, in front of each other, and in front of the children. The children to call both of us Mommy, and other than the birthing part, they were to be raised together as brothers and sisters. A polygamous household. Two wives, one husband.
He agreed, no discussion, he agreed. That left me in the middle, two against one. There was no negotiating, anything. Full wife, same bed, same husband. I went to bed that night to be incorporated into the house, sex was open, in front of her. When he recovered he had sex with her in front of me. Now we were married.
After I got pregnant, a woman came to officiate a marriage in front of friends and family. Not legal, but in every other way a full marriage, with vows and not only to my husband, but as wives we exchanged vows with each other. The three of us signed papers, being responsible for each other.
We are still together, the marriage never went through a trial or an adjustment. One day I was single, the next day I was married with a wife and a husband. We have four children, two apiece. By design, one gets pregnant, the other one gets pregnant. We moved to Austin, because of the social liberty there. I changed my lasts name legally, to my husband's. I sleep in the middle, between them, where they can keep an eye on me, and he can reach out and grab me. Sex is a big part of our marriage, all the way around, he and me, he and she, she and me, all three. If we are wives, then we have sex too. That's the way I see it.
