When I was in high school I was a good student. I am Hispanic from an economically disadvantaged family. When I met with my counselor about college she told me to avoid borrowing, live at home, get a part time job and go to community college. She then told me, for girls like me, smart enough, pretty enough, the real key was to find an older man and get married.
Well, what do you think I did, I accepted a school with student aid, and the college experience. A girl I met told me she wanted to love me like a man loves a woman, my first sexual experience was with a woman. I did well enough in college, used student aid to pay for my living expenses, including buying a car. I stayed in my woman relationship, became part of the movement. Tattoos followed, the short hair and piercings. I changed majors to something more meaningful than Biology. I changed schools to a school more accepting of lesbians. I graduated with seventy thousand in student debt, and zero job prospects. My college relationship behind me, I had no choice but to return home.
I ran into my counselor, she was terribly disappointed, especially the lesbian part. She told me I wasn't lesbian, far from it, I needed a nan with 'huevos', not a 'bitch' for a partner. As to my economic predicament, live at home, get a part time job and go to community college and get an associates degree. And look for an older man, who wants a girlfriend. Don't expect marriage, too much debt.
I have an associates in Physical Therapy and work font desk with a PT center associated with an orthopedic practice. I wear my hair on my shoulders, no piercings, and cover my tattoos. I have a boyfriend, a widower man who is fifty three and wants a woman companion. His mother in law, his deceased wife's mother, told him not to deny me children.
